About Us
Integration of technology in school environment since escalate and is at the point where is fully utilised on our schools. This needs the closing of the cap between the computer literacy and different computer systems that are available and used. Our key support is to ensure that we close any cap that exists for all stakeholders; including individual personnel who needs our support.

Mr. Lebone has accumulated a lot of experience for over twenty years of service on Technology environment. As the educator, he also has the required communication and skills in dealing and addressing the issues; both technically and educationally. He also employed as one of six department officials to introduce the SASAMS system in 2008.
During 2008 when SASAMS system was implemented in schools; he became on the first SASAMS trainers who were employed. The current success of SASAMS depended on the initial introduction and implementation in schools. Before this implementation, every school was using own administration system, among others it was Edsis, All-In-One, FreSAD and others were still using ordinary excel for generating marks schedule and learner reports. The system was introduced to school's administrators, who were taught how to capture initial school's details, learners' and educators' details and later how to capture marks.
Regardless of attitude, rejection and failure to comply; the team continued to ensure that everyone at school is fully capacitated and trained as to how to use and apply the system for administrative purposes. Schools' administrators were sole users of the system for all data capturing, which included the learner marks. At first, we had to introduce the system to every school starting with few individuals and continued to introduce to educators and principals. There is the separation of administrative and professional issues that need to be addressed. One of the issues is the capturing of marks in the system. It is however the issue that was misinterpreted by educators.
Prior the introduction of SASAMS, educators where capturing learners' marks manually using hand-written marksheets or typed with manual typewriters. Learners were manually captured in these marksheets and later generate manual schedules and manual learner reports. These processes were heavily caused burden and also with lot of mistakes. Since implementation of SASAMS there is huge, improved data quality that is needed for planning purposes.
